Oh shiiiitttt! It’s time!

You are ready to launch, the product is ready, you want everyone to see it!
But who are you launching to?

Did you grow a follower base? Did you build your mailing list? Did you manage to get some press coverage prior to the launch and will the launch be covered by the press? Who will, in the end, see your amazing launch?

It’s all About the Hype

People love hype and anticipation. So, you have to build that. Your potential clients must be feeling “Oh, it’s just two days before the launch!”. That is the scenario that you must be looking for.

The easiest way is to start from inside yourself. What is the last product that really got you waiting on your toes for? How did you feel? Why did it make you feel that way? How can you create the same emotion in your potential clients with your product?

Building Credibility

Trust and credibility go together

In order for someone to follow you and be eager to try your stuff, you must be viewed as a credible source. Building credibility is a process that you must start a long time prior to your launch.

Create and give free upfront value to the clients

Giving free upfront valuable content is the best way to attract clients and build credibility. As described in Validating your Baby, you should have already been active on social media and started to build your mailing list. Through this channels, your followers give you the opportunity to prove yourself. The clients believe in you for some reason. They identify with you. You must not let your early bird adopters down. They are the ones you have to focus on.

So, by creating cool relevant content regarding your product, trends in the industry, daily/weekly tips and by showing you are part of a network of amazing people, you start to gain credibility and authority with the client. A client that sees you as authority will talk about you to other people and spread the word for you. They will feel as a part of the product and will want to be the first to try it.

This is not easy. You must really know your target client in order to achieve this. Also, you need amazing content creators to address the task.

How to Create Amazing Content

First of all you must understand your client and your value proposition must solve their problem.

Secondly, you have to be able to close the gap in knowledge that your client has about their problems and show them how your product will help them live a better life.

Showing a client how their life will improve by using your product is not an easy task. You must understand how the client feels now. How does the client’s problem affect their life balance? What does the client do in his life and how does the problem affect his decision making?

Seeing the client’s matrix

See the client’s matrix and be able to verbalise, in client’s words, how you can improve their life.

There is a great book that helped me start my writings. It is called Made to Stick - Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Die - Cheap Heath and Dan Heath.
This book can help you understand how people digest stories and how to make your story "touch the button" and stay memorable.

If you don’t want to read books, listen to rap.

Testimonials

Testimonials are a great way of building credibility. I suggest you contact different kinds of influencers to push your product out to clients.

We, at StyleReply, contacted Jon, The Kavalier, and he agreed to have a session with us. Jon is an amazing gentleman. This is his video review of our product.

The Product Launch FormulaJeff Walker

OK… Jeff is the man! He is one of the pioneers in internet marketers and selling online content.

He explains in an easy way how the process of selling online should be executed so that you experience a big launch. The approach is so natural, and I’m sure you use it in other parts of your life when you perform different duties. It is amazing, how we, as humans, don’t end up using approaches that really work for us in other aspects of our life. We neglect to apply them to new scenarios because the ground is unfamiliar and we think it won’t work.

Jeff explains how to create a bond with the potential client and become an authority for them before you even launch. The goal is to prepare solid ground and anticipation for the launch in the buyers life. We have to create a product that the client loves and we must be able to show them how they will love it. That’s the beauty, it’s pure psychology.

Please, read the book Launch by Jeff Walker and prepare your launch flawlessly. Organise your resources and hire the right people on time to help you in this crucial step.
